If you've recently upgraded to Adobe 9/ Acrobat Reader 9 or Mozilla Firefox 3.0, you might find that opening a PDF file in your internet browser is not as easy as it used to be. If new updates are not available for these programs, here is a fix:.

In adobe 9 (or Acrobat Reader 8-9)

• Go to edit>preference>internet
• Uncheck the "Display PDF in browser" option
• Press OK button and exit the program
• PDF's should now open in Adobe Reader

Mozilla Firefox 3.0

• Go to Tools>Options
• In the "Main" tab, click on "Manage Options"



• The add-ons display will open, click on Plugins>Acrobat Reader>Disable




• Close add-ons > click OK on the options display > You should now have
  the option to either open PDF's in Acrobat Reader or download the file.
